Suns out and the riverfront is buzzing during the beautiful summer months at our city oasis. We offer something yum for the whole family, for friends and loved ones. We like to see ourselves as your one stop summer roast by the river shop- Expect piled high plates of small farm British meats, perfectly roasted potatoes, double egg Yorkshire puddings, of course there is always vegetarian and vegan yumminess on all of our menus, don't forget the lashings of gravy. With the 'best in west' bloody Mary station- serving up savoury realness for your Sunday, complimentary newspapers, games and crafts for our little patrons & all the vibes on the river- Booking is essential.

YOUNG's DAY 2025 AT THE OLD SHIP
We are celebrating our wonderful heritage, as a proud Young's pub, all day on 19th Septemeber.
In celebration Young's 194th birthday! You can expect special treats gifted throughout the day on our 'ON TAPP' app, there is no better time to come and join the party.
We will have a traditional knees up theme for the day, special birthday bar snacks, perfect traditional Young's ale pints flowing, our a la carte will be given a birthday remix for the day and there will be lots of lovely activities available for our little patrons too.

HARVEST 'WASSAIL' AT THE OLD SHIP
JOIN US FOR A DAY OF 'HARVEST WASSAILING' CELEBRATIONS
Celebrating a 'good harvest' is a centuries old tradition that brings people together to enjoy nature's bounty, especially cider & ale. In recognition of this join us for a day of live country music, hog roast takeover of the shack, a guided nature walk celebrating our beuatiful ecosystem along the banks of the river Thames, bobbing for apples and our annual 'pub tug' of war. We will be supporting our woodern spoon chosen charity throughout the day, so come and join in the fun, frolics and laughs along the river.
