Suns out and the riverfront is buzzing during the beautiful summer months at our city oasis. We offer something yum for the whole family, for friends and loved ones. We like to see ourselves as your one stop summer roast by the river shop- Expect piled high plates of small farm British meats, perfectly roasted potatoes, double egg Yorkshire puddings, of course there is always vegetarian and vegan yumminess on all of our menus, don't forget the lashings of gravy. With the 'best in west' bloody Mary station- serving up savoury realness for your Sunday, complimentary newspapers, games and crafts for our little patrons & all the vibes on the river- Booking is essential.

JOIN OUR CHRISTMAS RAMBLE
Coming up this December we have a very special offering for anyone and everyone in our local community. We will be hosting 3 Christmas rambles on the bridge to bridge circuit in aid of 'Dogs for Good.' Join us at 11:00 on the 8th, 15th & 22nd December for a fun and refreshing morning.
Bring friends, family, loved ones and of course your pawsome pals along, as we take a lovely festive ramble, hosted by landlord and landlady Joe & Alice. They will of course have Buddy & Bear with them and will finish the walk with a fireside pint and sausage roll.
This will be a ticketed event, with all proceeds going to 'Dogs for Good.'

We warmly invite you to join us for a very special carolling session in the pub this December. Come and snuggle in by our fireside and enjoy some beautiful singing from our local carollers, join in with you favourite tunes, have a warm spiced cyder or mulled wine & enjoy the complimentary mince pies.
Expect a proper knees up and sing song for the season, to be enjoyed by all.

Join us for the most wonderful day of the year. Christmas day at the Old Ship is all about celebrating our wonderful, local community and coming together for a festive knees up at the bar.
Whilst our Christmas day diners tuck into a 6 course feast, our main pub is open to everyone who wants to enjoy a Christmas day pint, tipple and cheers.
Hosted by the Landlord Joe, come and have a pre-dinner, post walk pint and mince pie with us.
Our log burners will be crackling until the doors close and we would love to see you and your loved ones for a Christmas day cheers.

When the Thames glimmers in the winter lights, The Old Ship is the place to welcome the year’s grand finale. Our riverside home is set for a night of celebration — tables dressed for feasting, glasses never empty, and the buzz of good company filling every corner. The kitchen will be serving comforting classics and platters designed for sharing, for savouring, and for raising a cheer. Meanwhile, the bar keeps the toasts coming — to the memories made, and the ones just waiting to be written. As midnight approaches, we gather together — regulars, neighbours, friends old and new — for that iconic countdown over the water. Then comes the sparkle: music, laughter, and the first sips of a bright new year beneath the riverside sky.
